Boarding sightseeing boat from Fukura port: about one hour

Whirl pool sightseeing of Naruto Strait by cabin cruiser from Fukura port for about one hour is recommended. The cabin cruisers have two types, one is a replica of Kanrin-Maru, a steam-sail boat, which was used for Japanese to travel to USA for the first time by crossing Pacific Ocean in 1860, and the other is a replica of Nippon-Maru which is a sail boat for the marine practice in Japan.

Visit Uzunomichi (Whirlpool Hall): about thirty minutes

Uzunomichi is a promenade installed in the inside of Ohnaruto Bridge girder. Visitors can enjoy marine walk through the promenade about 450 m long. In addition, the eddy of Naruto Strait can be seen through the corridor deck of the promenade, which is made of glass plates, 45 m above the sea level.

Visit Otsuka Museum of Art: about three hours

The museum, which collects a lot of masterpieces reproduced on ceramic boards, is established by Otsuka Pharmaceutical Group in celebration of the group's 75th anniversary. The museum's collection consists of more than 1,000 image reproductions of masterpieces such as western arts and ancient wall paintings from 190 collections in 25 countries. Visitors can enjoy the worldwide exhibitions even staying in Japan.

Visit Isamu Noguchi Garden Museum: about one hour

Mr. Isamu Noguchi is one of artists who are represented in 20 Century. He stayed in Mure to make the works in his late ages. The museum collects his works, residents, and gardens with many sculptures designed by him as they are.

Visit Higashiyama Kaii Setouchi Art Museum

The museum exhibits the 270 engraving collections of the artist Higashiyama Kaii, who is much in connection with Kagawa Prefecture. You can see Seto-Ohashi Bridges in light gray which was proposed by him. Historical heritages which show romantics are around the museum and the museum is surrounded by the beautiful nature of Seto Inland Sea. The museum must be relieving you.

Visit Marugame Genichiro-Inokuma Museum of Contemporary Art

The museum collects about 20,000 works of the artist Genichiro Inokuma who was an artist of modernism. In the front of the museum, which was designed by Mr. Yoshio Taniguchi, a wall painting and huge objet d'art are set.
