Lapis Oboke is a museum which exhibits various metamorphic rocks and shows the history of Oboke Gorge in detail. "Relationship between people's life and stones" corner shows how to use the underground resources such as gold, silver, copper, etc. Furthermore, you can relax yourself in "flowers of stone" corner, which shows beautiful minerals such as jewels and gemstones, and in "gallery".

Visit Kazura Bridge

Kazura Bridge crosses Iya River which is located in Iya. The Bridge is made from plants like creepers. The Bridge is designated as an important tangible cultural property ethnic in Japan. The height above the river is about 14 m. When walking on the Bridge, you feel your body shaken with thrilling.

Iya hot springs: staying overnight

Iya Ravine is called as one of three major secluded districts in Japan. Visitors can be relaxed by the gentle flowing of Iya River and the greenness of surrounding mountains. Furthermore, visitors can feel the greatness of the nature, seeing the beautiful scenery in a hot spring bath.

Visit Konpira Shrine: about two hours

The shrine is famous as the gods for prospering business, praying for large catching of fish, and the gods of sea. Also the many stone steps, 785 steps, to the main shrine are well known. Visitors can see Sanuki Plain from the main shrine.

Taste Sanuki Udon (noodle) around Zentsuji

It is said that Udon shows Sanuki. Sanuki Udon is much famous for one of Japanese noodles. The map of noodle shops is published by Kagawa Sightseeing Association. Please refer to it when you look for a shop.
