Guests' Voice
Former participants left a lot of hearty and cheering messages with us after the tour. Some of them are shown below.
- I would like to join the tour from the Kobe side, too. I felt how high the Japanese manufacturing technology is. The view from the top of the tower was great.
- Very interesting experience. The staff's explanation was very easy to understand and good.
- I was interested to listen to the story of the construction and the background. The perfect measures to prevent belongings from dropping were impressive.
- I was surprised that there were no death tolls in the construction. I was also astonished that the construction was resumed firmly after the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake even though it was located 1 kilometer from the epicenter.
- I was content to hear a very detailed explanation. I would like to join again because I am still curious about its structure and materials which can bear that much of weight, wind and earthquake.
- I joined the tour because I wanted to see the scenery from the top of the tower. Going upstairs was very tiring but worth the effort. Good weather made the view perfect.
- I was moved that Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge was not only a mere big bridge but also the result of enormous technology and effort. I felt sorry that I couldn't visit Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge Exhibition Center.
- I was satisfied to see the beautiful scenery, blessed with good weather. Staff's explanation was detailed and informative. The glove and the certificate I was given have become wonderful souvenirs.
- At first, I thought that the price was expensive, but it was good for me to have a special experience in the unusual location.
- I will recommend this tour to my friends who haven't joined yet.
- I was touched by the amazing technology of the suspension bridge. I want to applause the efforts of those involved in the construction, which they completed without any death toll out of 2,100,000.
- I could learn that the big bridge was supported by various kinds of technologies and people hand in hand for safety. I would like more children and young people to join the tour.
- The tour was safety first. I was impressed with the beautiful view which was different from that from the Kobe side.
- I enjoyed learning the history of Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge and the effort to maintain over 200 years from comprehensible explanations.
- The difficulties of building the long span bridge, special consideration for maintenance, the new technologies which have been used after the Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge, all of these were very excellent. I learned a lot.
