Toll explanation
Cash (non-ETC vehicle) tolls
These are tolls which apply to vehicles that are not traveling using the wireless ETC system.
They apply to all vehicle type year round without regard to day or time.
Payment may be made with cash, credit card or ETC card.
*The cash (non-ETC vehicle) toll applies to vehicles to which the ETC toll does not apply (vehicles without an ETC onboard device, etc.)
ETC tolls [Regular vehicles and light motor vehicles, etc.]
ETC tolls (weekdays)
Applies to vehicles traveling using the wireless ETC system on weekdays ( Monday through Friday, excluding holidays).
ETC tolls (Toll after application of holiday discount)
Applies to regular vehicles and light motor vehicles traveling using the wireless ETC system on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
*On January 2 and 3 each year, even if a weekday, tolls will be subject to a holiday discount for ETC standard vehicles and light motor vehicles.
Method by which tolls are determined
Application of ETC tolls, etc., will be determined at the time passing through the Honshu-Shikoku expressway entrance or exit toll gate (Including main route tollgates. The same shall apply hereinafter.) . (See example 1)
If one of the times passing through an entrance or exit falls on a weekday, and the other falls on a holiday, a holiday discount will be applied. However, if entering from a NEXCO expressway (E2 Sanyo Expressway or E11 Takamatsu Expressway), the target time is extended by 1 hour and the toll will be determined at the time of passing through the Honshu-Shikoku expressway exit tollgate. However, in the case of the Nishi-Seto Expressway (Shimanami Expressway), since it does not connect to NEXCO expressways, this does not apply. (See example 2)
When using Nishiseto-Onomichi interchange, the toll will be determined at the time of passing through the Mukaishima main route tollgate.
Example 1
When using only Honshu-Shikoku expressways (toll will be determined when passing through the entrance or exit tollgate)
When entering the expressway from a NEXCO expressway (toll will be determined when passing through the exit tollgate only)

ETC tolls (weekdays)
Applies to vehicles traveling using the wireless ETC system on weekdays ( Monday through Friday, excluding holidays).

Applies to medium, large, and extra-large vehicles traveling using the wireless ETC system on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
Method by which tolls are determined
Application of ETC tolls, etc., will be determined at the time passing through the Honshu-Shikoku expressway entrance or exit toll gate (Including main route tollgates. The same hereinafter. ).
