Hagi Uragami Museum

The Hagi Uragami Museum was opened in October 1996 after Toshiro Uragami, a businessman from Hagi City, donated his collection of ukiyo-e prints and oriental ceramics. It is introduced as a two-star tourist facility in international travel guidebooks.

From JR Higashi Hagi Station (Sanin Line), take the Hagi Circulation Maru Bus (westbound) (approx. 20 minutes).

The Hagi Loop Maru Bus has two routes: an eastbound route starting from Hagi City Hall that circles around Shoin Shrine, and a westbound route that circles around the castle town.
From the museum, it is convenient to use the “Hagi Meirin Center” and the westbound bus stop “Hagi Museum of Art, Urakami Memorial Hall, Hagi Castle Town Entrance”.
