Kobe City Museum

The museum opened in 1982 after expanding and renovating the former Yokohama Specie Bank Kobe branch, which was built in the former Kobe Foreign Settlement in 1935. It houses and exhibits archaeology, history, Namban artworks and Komo art, old maps, glassware, etc. Special exhibitions and themed exhibitions are also held.
