Niimi Museum of Art

The museum opened in November 1990 with over 300 artworks donated by the late Masahiro Yokouchi, a Niimi native and researcher of the literati painter Tessai Tomioka. The museum’s collection includes approximately 1,300 pieces, mainly Japanese paintings. Various exhibitions are held throughout the year.
