Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art

Designed by world-renowned architect Tadao Ando as a symbol of ‘cultural recovery’ from the Great HANSHIN AWAJI EARTHQUAKE, this is one of the largest art museums in western Japan. It is located in a beautiful setting with views of the Rokko mountain range to the north and the Seto Inland Sea and Kobe Port to the south.

From Shin-Kobe Shinkansen Station,take tha Kobe City Subway to Sannomiya Station,and transfer to one of the trains or buses listed below.The museum is about 15 min. from the station by taxi.
