Located in a forest filled with the blessings of nature, this art museum specializes in ceramics. In addition to permanent exhibits of masterpieces from Tamba ware, one of the Six Ancient Kilns of Japan designated as a Japan Heritage, it also holds special exhibitions that introduce a wide range of works, from ancient ceramics to contemporary pottery works from Japan and abroad.

  • Approximately 15 minutes from Ssnda Nishi IC or about 20 minutes from Tannan Sasayamaguchi IC
By Public transport
  • Get off at Aino Station on the JR Fukuchiyama Line (about 50 minutes from Osaka Station). From the front of the station, Wing Shinki (route bus) "Hyogo Ceramic Art Museum" and "Konda Yakushi Onsen".
    Alternatively, take a 15-minute ride to Kiyomizu-dera and get off at the Hyogo Ceramic Art Museum
    There is also a taxi service from Aino Station.
