The museum introduces a wide variety of works from Japan and abroad, including works by modern and contemporary artists, as well as local artists. It possess one of the world’s leading collections of Marc Chagall’s oil paintings and prints, and prints and films by Ishimoto Yasuhiro, a photographer with ties to Kochi Prefecture.
