Kotohiragu omotesyoin

The Omote Shoin is a gabled building with a cypress bark roof, and is said to have been built during the Manji era (1658-1660). It was used as a guest hall by the head priest Konkoin, who served Konpira Daigongen, to receive people who came for various ceremonies and worship. The building, along with the partition paintings by Okyo Maruyama painted on the five interior rooms, are designated as Important Cultural Properties.
